For ten years Model Intelligence have been involved in commercially focussed business modelling projects for a broad client base covering the private and not for profit sectors, ranging in size from small start-ups to large multinational organisations. In this time we have successfully executed over thirty different projects.
What we bring to our project work is the highest of technical modelling skills combined with a commercial and strategic outlook that allows us to focus as much on the assumptions underpinning a model as its construction.
Model Intelligence was created by Simon Proctor in 2007. Simon is the principal consultant but has an associate network that can be used for bigger projects. Simon had worked in investment banking covering the retail sector for seven years, and appeared regularly in the print and broadcast media discussing and reporting on the retail industry. Prior to that Simon worked in commercial finance roles .
Simon is a Chartered Management Accountant, has an MA in History from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School and a Post Graduate Certificate in Risk Management from Middlesex University. He has worked as a Visiting Lecturer at City University, and taught Financial Modelling & Corporate Finance courses for Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Citigroup, The Investor Relations Society, Nomura, RBS and written for publications such as The Guardian, Financial Management and Accountancy & Business.
